2203 OPTIONAL FRONT TOW HOOKS
One (1) pair chrome-plated bolt-on chassis tow hooks are to be installed
and secured to front chassis frame rails.
2204 OPTIONAL REAR TOW RINGS
One (1) pair chrome-plated bolt-on plate steel rear chassis tow rings
are to be installed and secured to rear chassis frame rails.
2205 OPTIONAL ALUMINUM TREADPLATE FUEL TANK/STEP COVER
[STANDARD CAB] .125 bright aluminum treadplate fuel tank/step
cover fabricated to "form" fit chassis fuel tank and/or chassis battery
box located beneath chassis cab doors. Treadplate cover for battery box
to include aluminum treadplate flush single panel access door to batteries.
Battery access door to have continuous stainless steel piano hinge and
6" stainless steel D-handle. Treadplate cover design to include step recess
for cab access if so designed into original fuel tank/battery box. One
(1) treadplate cover for each standard cab entry door.
2206 OPTIONAL ALUMINUM TREADPLATE FUEL TANK/STEP COVER
[CREW CAB] .125 bright aluminum treadplate fuel tank/step
cover fabricated to "form" fit chassis fuel tank and/or chassis battery
box located beneath chassis cab doors. Treadplate cover for battery box
to include aluminum treadplate flush single panel access door to batteries.
Battery access door to have continuous stainless steel piano hinge and
6" stainless steel D-handle. Treadplate cover design to include step recess
for cab access if so designed into original fuel tank/battery box. One
(1) continuous treadplate cover for left and right side crew cab entry
doors.
2207 OPTIONAL STAINLESS STEEL WHEELCOVERS
One (1) set of T304L stainless steel wheel covers installed on front and
rear wheels. Wheel cover design to be "D.O.T. Liner" as manufactured by
Phoenix. Combination wheel liner installation/removal tool provided to
customer.
2208 OPTIONAL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION WITH GRAVEL SHIELD
Front chassis frame rails to be extended 15" and chassis bumper reinstalled
with original brackets and mounting hardware. .125 bright aluminum treadplate
gravel shield installed between front bumper and engine cowl. Gravel shield
to include skirts on side between front bumper and front fender area.
2209 OPTIONAL AIR HORNS
Two (2) Grover Model 1510 air horns installed behind front bumper. Air
horns connected to chassis air system. One (1) horn ring switch supplied
and installed in switch panel. Horn ring switch to select either chassis
original horn or air horns. Activation of horns will be done through steering
wheel horn switch.
2210 OPTIONAL FRONT MOUNTED WINCH
One (1) Ramsey Model RE12000 electric winch installed between front chassis
frame rails. Winch to be 12,000 LB rated with 125' of 3/8" galvanized
aircraft cable, replaceable clevis hook, 4-way roller fairlead, 12' remote
control switch. Electrical jack/connector for remote control installed
on left hand side of front bumper. Winch connected to chassis electrical
system with required wire and connectors as specified by winch manufacturer.
2211 OPTIONAL ALTERNATOR UPGRADE
One (1) Leece-Neville 200 amp alternator installed with all required mounting
brackets and wiring.
2212 OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC TRACTION CHAINS
One (1) pair of Insta-chain automatic traction chains installed on rear
axle per manufacturer's installation intructions. Control switch installed
on cab dash. Chain actuators interfaced with chassis air system.
2213 OPTIONAL RUNNING BOARDS [REGULAR CAB - PICKUP]
One (1) pair of Delta III bright aluminum treadplate running boards installed
on cab per manufacturer's installation instructions. This option available
on pickup style trucks, eg. Ford F550
2214 OPTIONAL RUNNING BOARDS [CREW CAB - PICKUP]
One (1) pair of Delta III bright aluminum treadplate running boards installed
on cab per manufacturer's installation instructions.
2215 OPTIONAL CAB CENTER CONSOLE
Cab center console constructed of 1/2" CDX grade plywood with Formica
exterior surfaces. Console design and layout per customer specifications.
Equipment to be installed in console to include optional equipment such
as sirens, radios, gauges, switches etc. Relays, breakers, power
supplies, etc. installed in 12VDC electrical panel in vented aluminum
load center box with removable lid.

2301 OPTIONAL 2" OFFSET BODY RUBRAILS
Tubular type, full-length lower body rubrails are to be full-welded to
body uprights on each body side and reinforced to full-width tubular rear
step support. Rubrails and step support are to be beveled on a 45-degree
angle at corner of rear step/rubrail, body wheelhousing openings and front
body corners. Bright aluminum treadplate rubrail cap to be installed
over rubrail tube on upper horizontal surface and exposed vertical surface.
Treadplate rub rail cap secured to rubrail tube with required fasteners.
Rubrails, including treadplate rubrail cap, offset from body approximately
1.25" from body sides.
DESIGN NOTE
10/12 foot bodies - standard body width is 96" with 26" deep
body side compartments. When specifying 2" offset rubrails, the body overall
width shall remain at 96", however, the body side compartments will be
reduced to 24" in depth.
14-20 foot bodies - standard body width is 96" with 26" deep
body side compartments. When specifying 2" offset rubrails, the body overall
width shall increase 4", from 96" to 100".
2302 OPTIONAL 1 3/4" RADIUS CORNERS
Front and rear body exterior panels and vertical corners to consist of
four (4) full-height x 28" wide one-piece integral .125 aluminum panels
with 1-3/4" radius corner posts and 1" wide upper and lower panel edge
flanges. Corner panels full-welded to front and rear body crossmembers
and upper flange welded to front and rear body roof rail. Panel(s) to
create fastener-free exterior appearance. Front center panels to be .125
aluminum with flanges bolted to above corner panel flanges. Exterior seams
sealed with Sikaflex # 221 adhesive caulking. Cast aluminum ball corners
installed at upper corners of body in roof rail. Ball corners to be full-welded
to vertical body corners and roof rails. Ball corner welds to be ground
and filled as required prior to painting for a seamless appearance.
2303 OPTIONAL STAINLESS STEEL FENDERS
One (1) pair 14 gauge polished stainless steel roll-edge body fenders
installed to make fender opening symmetrical with tire radius. Fenders
installed with minimum 4" front/rear clearance and 6" top tire clearance.
To facilitate removal, replacement or repair, fenders are to be fastened
to above angle support arch with type "F" fasteners. Fenders offset from
wheelhousing approximately 1.5"-2" from body sides and to be flush with
optional outer rubrail edge if applicable.
DESIGN NOTE

2304 OPTIONAL REAR STEP GRIP- STRUT INSERT
One (1) Grip-Strut section inserted into center section of rear step bumper
aluminum treadplate cap. Grip-Strut section to be 6" deep X approximately
36" in width.
2305 OPTIONAL REAR GRAB RAILS
One (1) pair of 1-1/4" non-slip/NFPA type grab rails with chrome Southpark
stanchions installed on rear body panels on either side of rear body compartment.
Grab rail to be a minimum of 40" in height.
2306 OPTIONAL WHEELHOUSING FUEL TANK FILL
One (1) Cast Products aluminum fuel fill with access door installed at
upper corner of left side wheelhousing panel to facilitate refueling of
rear mounted chassis fuel tank.
2307 OPTIONAL WHEELHOUSING SCBA STORAGE TUBE
One (1) SCBA storage tube installed in rear wheelhousing treadplate panel.
Tube dimensions are 26" deep X with a 8" diameter. Cast Products Model
FT41750-1 cast aluminum access door installed and secured to wheelhousing
panel with required fasteners.
2308 OPTIONAL ADJUSTABLE COMPARTMENT SHELF
One (1) adjustable compartment shelf installed in customer specified compartment.
Adjustable shelf to have 1-1/2" double-break lips with welded corners.
Shelf is to be installed on Kindorf "C" type plated side wall stanchions
and have 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/8" full-width side brackets with end gussets.
Kindorf rail clips and fasteners provided for each bracket.
2309 OPTIONAL SLIDE-OUT DECK
One Slide-out deck installed on compartment floor of customer specified
location. Slide-out deck to have 300 lb. capacity Grant triple-track,
plated slide rails with closed position latch. Frame for deck to be fabricated
from aluminum angle. Deck to be fabricated with 3/4" birch veneer solid
wood core plywood. Deck finish to be clear coat.
2310 OPTIONAL SLIDE-OUT DRAWER
One Slide-out drawer installed on compartment floor of customer specified
location. Aluminum angle framework fabricated to support removable drawer.
Aluminum drawer to have 4"-6" sides and be mounted on 300 lb. capacity
Grant triple-track, plated slide rails with closed position latch.
2311 OPTIONAL ROLL-UP COMPARTMENT DOORS
Roll-up doors to be installed on all body side compartments and rear/fantail
compartment. Roll doors to be manufactured by ROM Corporation. Other
door design features to include front roll operator, liftbar with key
lock, standard track, door ajar/compartment light switch, satin finish,
drip rail with top seal, and bottom rail extension. Doors to be installed
per manufacturer's installation instructions.
2312 OPTIONAL SLIDE-OUT TOOL BOARD
One (1) slide-out tool board installed in customer specified compartment.
Tool board to be fabricated from 3/4" Birch veneer lumber-core plywood
with polyurethane finish. Tool board installed on two (2) grant
slides, one (1) upper and one (1) lower. One (1) catch installed
on lower edge to retain tool board in compartment.
2313 OPTIONAL TILT-DOWN TOOL BOARD
One (1) slide-out tilt-down tray installed in customer specified compartment.
Tilt-down tray to be fabricated from steel with maximum 250 pound weight
capacity. 3/4" Birch veneer lumber-core plywood installed on frame
of tilt-down tray. Birch plywood to have polyurethane finish.
2314 OPTIONAL INTERIOR CABINET (COMMANDER SERIES ONLY)
One (1) interior cabinet installed per line drawing. Cabinet to
be fabricated from 5/8" exterior grade plywood with white satin Formica
pressure-bonded to cabinet interior. Cabinet exterior panels to
be covered with material to match standard body interior panels.
Cabinet to have 1/4" thick clear plexi-glass sliding doors. Cabinets
installed and reinforced to body framework with type F fasteners.
Cabinet to have one (1) aluminum adjustable shelf with shelf track and
shelf brackets and track nuts. Cabinet dimension is approximately
48" in length by customer specified height and depth.
2315 OPTIONAL COMMAND DESK ( COMMANDER SERIES ONLY)
One (1) aluminum command desk installed per line drawing. Desk to
have hinged aluminum lid with storage area below lid. Hinged plexiglass
overlay installed on desk lid. Desk to be approximately 48" wide
X 20" deep with 6" height in rear and 3" height in front.
2316 OPTIONAL SCBA STYLE SEAT BACK (COMMANDER SERIES ONLY)
One (1) Zico Model CBR18-B-SHR seat back installed per line drawing.
Seat back to be black and include bottle bracket for customer specified
SCBA bottle.

2401 OPTIONAL BATTERY SWITCH
One (1) Transportation Safety Devices Model PDS200EX Automatic battery
switch installed and wired to batteries and chassis ignition system. Battery
switch to engage/disengage chassis conversion utilities only. Original
chassis electrical configuration to remain unaltered. PDS200EX battery
switch to be activated when ignition switch has been activated. Switch
will automatically disconnect conversion electrical circuitry after chassis
ignition has been deactivated and the preset time, usually 5 minutes,
has elapsed by the internal timer in the battery switch.
2402 OPTIONAL COMPARTMENT LIGHTS - Body with hinged doors
Two (2) compartment lights installed in each and every exterior body compartment.
Weldon Model 8040, 7" diameter, semi-recessed type lights installed with
automatic door switch.
Light locations, Hinged Doors - Lights to be installed on compartment
doors as follows:
- Street Side - upper light - left hand side, lower light - right hand
side
- Curb Side - upper light - right hand side, lower light - left hand
side
- Rear compartment lights shall be installed on compartment ceiling
2402R OPTIONAL COMPARTMENT LIGHTS - Body with roll-up doors
Two (2) compartment lights installed in each and every exterior body compartment.
Weldon Model 2030, surface mount lights installed and interfaced with
automatic door switch supplied with roll-up door.

2403 OPTIONAL COMPARTMENT DOOR OPEN INDICATOR
One (1) door open warning light installed in chassis cab. Warning light
to be interfaced with door ajar/open circuitry in rescue body for all
body doors. Warning light wired to required flasher.
2404 OPTIONAL SIDE AND REAR 12VDC HALOGEN SCENE LIGHTS
Six (6) Whelen Model 9E halogen scene lights installed in upper body panels
per location on line drawing. Wired to switch(s) in cab switch panel.
2405 OPTIONAL GROUND LIGHTS
Six (6) Weldon Model 9185 sealed lights installed under unit for ground
illumination. Light mounted to under side of unit with stainless steel
bracket and rubber grommet to provide shock-free mounting. Ground lights
interfaced with ignition switch and transmission neutral safety switch.
Lights will activate when ignition switch is on and unit transmission
is placed in park/neutral.
2406 LED BRAKE/TAIL AND TURN SIGNAL WITH HALOGEN BACK-UP
Upgrade Weldon brake light (2112-L) and Weldon turn signal (2112-M) from
incandescent lights to Whelen Model 97 LED lights, Whelen Model 970CLBRR
brake/tail and Whelen Model 970CLTTR turn signal. Whelen turn signal
LED to be "populated arrow". Upgrade Weldon backup light (2112-N)
from incandescent light to Whelen halogen light. [note - lights
identified with ( ) refer to standard Rescue 2000 Body Specifications.]

2501 OPTIONAL PTO GENERATOR WITH 110VAC DISTRIBUTION CENTER
One (1) Onan/Protec 25 KW generator, Model 25 YD CR 621C, installed between
frame rails with steel supports/hangers, full length and width steel skid
plate installed to
protect unit. Generator connected to PTO with required drive shaft, drive
shaft to have two (2) universal joints and one slip shaft. Where drive
line from PTO to generator is in excess of 60" or the angle of inclination
is greater than eleven (11) degrees, two (2) drive shafts with hanger
bearing will be utilized. PTO unit and drive line to have proper horsepower
rating for generator requirements. PTO engaged by electric switch on cab
dash and air shift connected to chassis air system.
One (1) Square D circuit breaker load center installed in compartment
L-1. Load center to have 150 amp main breaker with total capacity of 16
individual breakers for 110 volt circuits. Generator electrical system
connected to circuit breaker load center. Required breaker installed for
each optional receptacle, equipment and lighting circuit specified.
One (1) Onan voltmeter and one (1) Onan frequency meter installed adjacent
to above distribution panel.
2502 OPTIONAL TELESCOPING POLE LIGHTS
Two (2) Tele-Lite telescoping pole lights, Model #15, installed on front
body panels. Telescoping pole to be bottom raise with 4" offset brackets.
Lighthead to be 1500 watt quartz halogen. Each light wired to individual
weatherproof switch installed adjacent to light on front body panel and
individual breaker in load center.
2503 OPTIONAL PORTABLE TELESCOPING TRIPOD LIGHTS
Two (2) Tele-Lite portable telescoping tripod lights, Model TT-15, installed
on rear body panels. Tripod light to be mounted with Tele-Lite vehicle
mounting bracket, Model TTVM. Lighthead to be 1500 watt quartz halogen.
L5-15 electrical connector attached to coil cord and tripod/lighthead.
Two (2) L5-15 receptacles with weather-proof covers installed on rear
body panel per line drawing.
2504 OPTIONAL PERMANENT MOUNT FLOOD LIGHTS
Two (2) Stonco CPH 1525 light housings recessed in upper body panels per
line drawing. Lighthead to be 1500 watt quartz halogen . Each light to
be mounted in Cast Products aluminum trim, Model C10115. Light to be wired
to 110VAC circuit breaker and switch located at load center.
2505 OPTIONAL TELESCOPING LIGHT TOWER
One (1) Wil-Burt telescoping 15' light tower with four (4) 1500 watt quartz
halogen lightheads, Model NS15-6000. Light tower installed on forward
section of rescue body roof with required mounting hardware and re-enforcement
plates installed in body roof. Light tower to be connected to chassis
air and 12VDC electrical system. Lightheads wired to dedicated breakers
in 110VAC breaker load center. Pistol grip remote control for light tower
installed in compartment L-1 adjacent to 110VAC breaker load center. One
(1) aluminum cord reel installed in compartment L-1.
2506 OPTIONAL BATTERY CHARGER/CONDITIONER WITH SHORELINE
One (1) Vanner Model 30-10 fully automatic battery charger/conditioner
installed in customer specified location. One (1) 110VAC 20 amp shoreline
with weather-proof cover installed on cab/chassis. One (1) 110VAC duplex
receptacle installed at conditioner location. Conditioner wired to batteries
as required.
2507 OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC AIR COMPRESSOR WITH BATTERY CHARGER AND SHORELINE
One (1) Kussmaul Pump Plus 2000 air compressor with battery charger installed
vertically above frame line in customer specified locations. One (1) 110VAC
20 amp shoreline with weather-proof cover installed on cab/chassis. One
(1) 110VAC duplex receptacle installed at conditioner location. Conditioner
wired to batteries as required. Air compressor interfaced with chassis
air system. Air compressor can be selected to operate on either 110VAC
or 12VDC. One (1) dual bar graph for battery condition to be installed
per customer specified location.
2508 OPTIONAL 110VAC DUPLEX OUTLET
One (1) 110 volt AC duplex outlet installed in customer specified compartment.
Each duplex outlet to be rated at 110VAC/15amp. Wired to dedicated circuit
breaker in load center.
2509 OPTIONAL FLUORESCENT LIGHT (COMMANDER SERIES ONLY)
One (1) 110 volt AC surface mounted fluorescent light fixture installed
per line drawing. Wired to switch in customer specified location
and circuit breaker in load center.

Two (2) Whelen Model 7E halogen warning lights installed, one (1) each

One (1) Federal Model FV2650 Viewpoint lightbar installed on cab roof
with permanent mount kit. Lightbar to be wired to switch(s) in cab switch

2610 OPTIONAL LOAD MANAGER WITH LIGHT SEQUENCER
One (1) Kussmaul Model 091-32 load manger with light sequencer installed
and interfaced with warning lights (5 circuit maximum) and chassis electrical
system. Load manger has low voltage monitoring capabilities to prevent electrical
overloads. Load manager will automatically sequence lights on/off depending
on voltage reading. Load manager includes switch panel mounted indicator
to signal which mode unit is in, and a remote manual override switch to
be installed in cab switch panel.
2611 OPTIONAL GRILL/INTERSECTION LED LIGHTS
Four (4) Whelen Model 73LED warning lights installed, two (2) in/on grill
and two (2) on front fenders or on apron of optional gravel shield of
front bumper extension deck. Wired to switch in cab switch panel.
2612 OPTIONAL BODY WARNING LED LIGHT PACKAGE
Six (6) Whelen Model 97 LED warning lights installed, two (2) each on
left/right side on upper body panel and two (2) each on rear upper body
panel. Wired to switch in cab switch panel.
2613 OPTIONAL REAR WHEELHOUSING LED WARNING LIGHT
Two (2) Whelen Model 73 LED warning lights installed, one (1) each centered
on rear wheelhousing panel above tire. Wired to switch in cab switch
panel.
2614 OPTIONAL HEADLIGHT FLASHER
One (1) Whelen UHF2150A headlight flasher installed, wired to switch in
cab switch panel. Flasher includes integrated highbeam override
and nighttime cutoff.

2701 OPTIONAL HOSE REEL
One (1) Hannay utility air reel, Model F1516-17-18 with 150' of 3/8" hose,
hose stop, roller guide, electric rewind motor, rewind switch and solenoid.
Reel to have oven-cured enamel finish. Reel suspended from compartment
ceiling in customer specified compartment. Reel connected to chassis air
system with shut-off solenoid located at air tank and control switch to
be mounted in cab. Rewind motor interfaced with body electrical system
and rewind switch located at reel.
2702 OPTIONAL CABLE REEL
One (1) Hannay electric cable reel, Model CR1616-17-18 with 150' of 10/3
